For Sale: 1990 (I think) Merlin Mountain frameset with Chris King two nut headset and Tange chromolly headset. Asking $900.
Merlin Mountain frame and Tange chromoly fork for sale. Frame was recently refurbed (hand-buffed) and new "classic" Merlin decals were applied and new Phil Wood bottom bracket bearings were installed. No dents or damage to frame or fork. I believe it's a 1990 based on the 2982 serial number, as shown in dropout photo. Size is Large, 20" center of bb to
center of top tube, 24.25" nominal tube-tube length, center to center. Classic Chris King two-nut headset is included in sale. Item to note, at some point in this frame's life, two 4mm attachment bolts were added to the underside of the down-tube, shown in photos. They are not bottle-cage width so I don't know what they were used for. All is clean and in good working order. Reasonable offers welcome. Will ship UPS ground in the Continental US.
