Vintage Cinelli Frameset The Machine Mountain Bike. Circa 1991. In the early 90s, Cinelli and Gary Fisher designed and released a series of collab bikes. This beauty is built with Columbus MAX OR tubing. Extremely rare to find. Awesome paint scheme! Frame has a 17" seat tube measured ctc, 17.5" ctt. Top tube is 22". This has many of the hallmarks of high end 90s MTBs, including a 27.0 seatpost and press fit bottom bracket. Both are included with frameset. If you've ever worked on vintage Fishers, Kleins, etc, this will be nothing new for you. BB turns smoothly and is more than rideable, but could probably use new bearings. These use replaceable 6003RS cartridge bearings. Steerer is 1 1/4" threaded. Includes Fisher Superlight headset with locking top cap. The fork crown race is not installed as i do not have the oversize tool, so the headset is only loosely attached in photos, will be shipped disassembled. Also includes the ZOOM quill riser stem. Vintage splatter paint SuperByke bottle cage included, as well as purple anodized T-System seatpost QR. Lever shows some fading. Frame is in overall excellent condition. No dents, dings, etc. Paint is very nice with typical light scratches and rub marks, chain wear on drive side chainstay, etc. The downtube has clamp marks from front derailleur. Headtube is very nice and has protective stickers to prevent cable rub wear. Bike was set up with a front suspension fork previously, and the original rigid fork (pictured) sat in storage for years. It must have been somewhere with some moisture as some oxidation is visible on brake posts, dropouts, and unpainted section of steerer tube. Please see detail photos! We package frames with extreme care using the highest quality padding and strong bike boxes. Customers love our packaging! Please review all photos and feel free to message us with any questions.
