Vintage Cannondale F700 | Large | 26” Custom Rebuild. The idea was to build the F700 using modern components so that it not only looks nice, but also performs great. Therefore, I decided to go with lightweight 1440g (!) wheels built on Hope 3 Straight pull XC3 hubs and Stans Crest 26” rims, Ultralight Formula R1/RX brakes with blue brake levers, carbon Crankbrothers handlebars, Middleburn cranks with 32t narrow wide chainring to prevent chain dropping, Shimano XT 11-speed groupset and wide range 10-42T cassette. The bike is in a very good condition considering it’s age. The only things to mention is the paint chip on the right side of the top tube and Fatty fork needs servicing as the lockout is not working for some reason even though the fork itself is working fine. These things have never bothered me though. The bike as pictured weighs just 9.9kg! I wish I could keep this bike as it’s a collectible and will only grow in price, but having 6 bikes in a small garage doesn’t help… Full specs: - frame: Cannondale F700 - MADE IN THE USA - fork: Cannondale Fatty - wheels: Hope 3 Straight pull XC3 hubs and Stans Crest 26” rims - tyres: Schwalbe Billy Bonkers with tan walls - tubes: Maxxis ultralight - Shifter/Rear mech: Shimano XT 11-speed with a clutch - cranks: Middleburn with 32T narrow-wide chainring - brakes: Formula R1/RX with blue levers and calliper bore caps with 160mm formula R1 rotors - stem: Cannondale 85mm (new) Plan to ship this via bikeflights.com, although open to other offers or suggestions.
