Please ask any questions before bidding. This auction is for one used (NL brand) steel riser stem, with 22.2mm diameter quill and 95mm reach. Handlebar clamp diameter is 25.4mm. Weight of this stem is approximately 16 oz. Color is painted-black with some heavy scratches, tooling marks and oxidation from prior use that are cosmetic only. Some missing paint and oxidation spots (as-shown). The small TIG weld marks are visible. The center bolt is chromed steel with some surface pitting in the top of the HEX bolt. Overall, cosmetically, it is in fair condition, but structurally strong and ready for install. Minimum insertion depth is 70mm. Country of manufacture is not marked but assumed to be Taiwan. This stem does NOT fit older Scwhinn road bikes that have 21.1mm (0.833) stem diameter (those made in Chicago.) It does fit some later 1980s Schwinns that were made in Japan or Taiwan with TANGE steel fork (22.2mm). Top and bottom bolt on the handlebar clamp are NON MATCHING. One is 6mm allen and other bolt is hex-head. NOT for use by children, choking hazard, small parts. For adult use on adult bikes only. Overall condition is as-is and as-shown in the auction pictures.
