The Cross King was developed together with the Topeak Ergon Racing team. The aim was to be able to offer a tire that rolls well and achieves the grip required off-road. This resulted in the versatile Cross King, which was equipped with all the technical finesse of the Continental company and is equally suitable for dry and wet weather. The Cross King enters the new season with a proven profile. It claws its way into the ground even better and helps you to prove yourself in competition. Due to its relatively large volume, it has very good self-damping and protects the driver from tiring too quickly. Pure Grip Compound Based on the activated silica compound, we worked purposefully towards a compound technology in the performance segment. After intensive development work, the result of Continental's Korbacher research and development department brought about a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing properties. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name PureGrip says it all. Shield Wall system The ShieldWall system combines the optimal combination of high puncture protection and the best smooth running with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which consists of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tire high resistance to punctures and injuries. Despite the additional layer, the tire has very good damping properties and is highly flexible, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the ground.
