Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. This is my 1998 Cannondale Raven 1000 Super V and color is Chromalusion Purpleen. I have had this bike for 13 years and it started my mountain bike journey.
I have upgraded what I can and could. It has a full shimano XTR M952 group- shifters lever combo, cranks, bottom bracket, front and rear derailleur and cassette as well as skewers. The shimano chain is new to add to the whole drivetrain. The rear derailleur has new bullseye jockey wheels and is fitted with anodized purple bits.
I never liked the coda brakes so I upgraded to mechanical BB7-s all black to go with the mechanical XTR combo levers. The rims are Mavic 223 with Coda expert hubs with 4 bolt disc ( front disc used, rear disc new) and Innova rant street park tires. The bars, stem and grips are both original Coda.
The super fatty sl headshok was first serviced by Mendon Cyclesmith in June of 2018 and refreshed in June of 2020 and has no miles since then. Headshok lockout works great! The Fox float r rear shock is still working great. It holds air and still has the rebound function working too. The sette Italia flite saddle is used but has little use and the truvativ seatpost is new.
The bike has your nicks and scratches but no cracks No dents no dings! It was used and has your typical marks from use. The previous owner had let the seat post down hitting the top part of the swingarm ( picture is taken ) that’s pretty much the worst of it. There is chain slap marks and have put cannondale slap protectors. The bike still handles great and still has the eye candy appeal amongst older riders!
I have enjoyed the bike as well as enjoyed the attention and have maintained it properly. It doesn’t need anything and is always ready to go.
