Vintage Cannondale 1989 SM800 Mountain Bike (small frame) in good condition for it's age. Stamped serial number is 01811890074 (Serial Number Break Down 0= 130mm rear dropout spacing; 18= 18" frame; 1189= November 1989 and 0074 is a sequencing number). Built in America by Americans. The 1989 build is a standout year since that is when the 3.0 frames were introduced. Also 1989 was the last year using the classic Train Station Cannondale logo, but this one has the 1990-1996 logo (most likely due to the late production date). Yes, she has some miles on her and some ‘battel scars’ but they are purely cosmetic. I have kept up a regular maintenance schedule on the critical components. All she needs to become a smoker again is a little bit of TLC and a new seat. Comes with black aluminum Blackburn rack in rear, two (2) water bottel cages, safety light, and working mini-tire pump. This bike has been across the world many times during my 26 years of military service. I am the Original Owner.
