Fun fact (not that you care) but I've been looking for a 1995 Fisher Mt. Tam for years, sold mine long ago. This 1994 Fisher Paragon is essentially the same frame, just painted "Lobelia Purple" rather than high-polished like my Mt. Tam was.
Fisher made great bikes. This Paragon is no exception! The welds are very nice. Paint is in good condition overall with a nice shine. Nicks and scrapes in most of usual places. Teeny-tiny dent in the top tube from brake lever impacts. The previous owner must have stuffed a beefy tire in the back because paint has been removed from the chainstays where tire rub would be logical. Similarly, this person must not have believed in chainstay protectors as this one has its share of marks and nicks. There is also a small mark on the downtube just above a decal, but it's not super concerning. Other than the little dent on the top tube, there really aren't any more to speak of. So that's good news! Also, thankfully, the bike never had a kickstand attached. But the color is really something to see! Photos and video don't do it justice, but please do check those out! :)
This is a 19" model, measured from center of the axle to the top of the top tube, which itself looks to be 22.5". The head tube is 5.5" and takes a 1-1/8" headset. Not sure what size seat post this guy takes, I will check and update the listing (I'm guessing 30.9mm). The frame was made in the USA with 6061 Aluminum. 135mm rear spacing of course. The bottom bracket spins well! Finally, for a better understanding of the bike's overall condition, PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE and see the MANY PHOTOS I HAVE INCLUDED BELOW, RIGHT IN THE LISTING, IN ADDITION TO THE 24 THAT EBAY NOW ALLOWS! I want you to know what you're getting! "WILL THIS BIKE FIT ME?" Please refer to the LAST IMAGE in the set above, it's a handy chart I found on the excitebikes.com website. It provides some information to help you decide if this frame is right for you. Bike fit is unique to each rider, and so this information is provided as a guideline only. Please consult a local bike shop before purchasing if you are unsure! About the shipping: please know, I do not mark up shipping, I charge whatever eBay's system tells me. The cost to get it to you is a function of two things: 1) the size of the box I have available to ship it, and 2) your distance from New Jersey. Thanks for understanding! That about does it. If by chance you need any components to complete your build, please let me know. If you have questions about the frame, please
ask before bidding. ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS - welcome to eBay! I'd love to provide your first positive rating. Just message me before bidding, mmmmmm-kay? Thanks! It
em sold used "as is". No warranties, implied or otherwise. Auction winner assumes all liabilities and must be based in the USA - no international buyers
. Sorry but I cannot ship this frame outside the continental USA, and I will not ship to a freight forwarder
either. Why? Because eBay says that I no longer have any seller protections if a freight forwarder is utilized. Thanks for understanding! I take great pride in the way I pack frames for shipment. I have to use new cardboard boxes from Amazon
($8-$12 each) because my local bike shops can't always provide me with boxes in the sizes I need. Smaller frames ship with forks removed (if present), rear triangle blocked with wood, and lots, lots, LOTS of crumpled up newspaper to ensure the frame doesn't move around inside. Larger frames also ship with the rear triangle blocked with wood, and with any fork still attached. I use cardboard bracing in several key spots (front and rear brake bosses, bottom bracket, rear dropouts) along with heavy-duty zip ties to ensure the frame does not move around once the box is closed. The process is tedious but the results are worth it, as my past customers will attest! Finally, Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I ship *FAST* and don't sell JUNK!
